High (and Screened) Hopes

Remember the strawberry jar that was burgled by critters? Well, I found I had exactly enough screen left from another project to staple around the jar and so far, so good. We have another hearty batch of blossoms and baby berries and I am so excited that I might actually get to eat one or two myself! Sure, it looks kind of goofy sitting there all screened in....but the plant seems healthier again, and although the squirrels and bunnies have oh so casually "strolled" by, no one has invaded as yet. Here's hoping!
