Leaving Strathpeffer we travel through moors of heather in the western Highlands to Lochalsh and the Inner Hebridean Isle of Skye - one of our favorites. We have really been looking forward to being in Skye again.
Our disappointment in the short shrift the tour paid to Skye was greatly lightened by the magnificent day providing us with fabulous photo ops of the iconic Eilean Donan Castle.
We get back to the mainland by Ferry across the Sound of Sleat to Mallaig.
