Tour Day 22, Sunday, August 20, 2017

Looked forward greatly to this day!  Headed into Thomas Hardy's Wessex and then on to a visit to STONEHENGE!  

 We'd heard so much about the stones being cordoned off and not being able to approach them, we were geared up to being satisfied that this would be as much as were able to see.  But then.....

 we found we were able to approach quite near and it was a wonderful experience.

 Why doesn't the US have more such colorful buildings?

 Via Arundel, dominated by the Duke of Norfolk's huge castle, we continued on to the seaside resort of Brighton for an overnight stay.

 Any chance for a cuppa.
