August 12 2017 tour day 14

At Killorglin, we join the road known as the Ring of Kerry for a 100 mile coastal drive with sparkling seascapes, mountains dotted with brightly colored farmhouses, winding lanes bordered with subtropical vegetation and spectacular views of the Lakes of Killarney.

There was a special optional adventure of a horse-drawn jaunting car along the national park lakeshore for pictures of Ross Castle.  By then I was feeling quite unwell, and we decided to pass up this activity and nap in order to gain our strength.

Leap Cow!!!
Later, we enjoyed an outing to Tralee for dinner and a performance at Siamsa Tire, Ireland's National Folk Theater.

Me in the Lady's Room mirrors!!!

By the end of the evening I was tired, but ever so happy I'd taken some time to rest.  The show was very nice but I am  ever frustrated when the request is made to "take no photographs."  Ever mindful of making a good impression of "American Tourists" I try to abide by the rules (while others snap away!)  So have little to show my dear readers.
