Sometimes We Are Superfluous

Sometimes we are truly superfluous...and Mother Nature just ups and lets us know it!
The above "bush" used to be a gorgeous rhododendron.  Every spring I would sit and watch it through its flowering cycle and adore it.
The back neighbors killed it!  They dug up the roots that had gone past the fence and then poured poison all along the fence.  The rhodie died.  I thought we were going to cut it out and replant.
But from across the lawn - we are talking 30 - 40 feet away, a wisteria crawled across and began to grow around and around the skeleton.  It has turned into a lovely, graceful "bush" and I look forward to next year when it is in bloom.  Nice thing is, there are no roots there for the neighbors to attack!
Step aside, folks, let Nature take her course.
