Last Born, So Far

We celebrated the second birthday of our youngest grandchild, Madelyn this past weekend at her house - and the party then led in to a festive celebration for Memorial Day.
Enjoying the song!
Blow out the candles

Waiting patiently for her gifts

Pop Pop and Mom Mom got some matchbox cars for Ian.

Looks like she liked our gift!  She kept saying "I ride" but I think she was wondering how to ride the box!  :)

Happy Birthday little blue faced butterfly.  We love you.

I took the opportunity to show her family the little wall quilt I made of a silhouette photo taken by her mom.

A fairly large number of McCay men gathered in one place.

Pop Pop playing sidewalk chalk.  And yes, Madelyn was there somewhere playing with him!
It was a very warm day, but there was a nice breeze for most of it and the great attendance of so many family members made it such fun.
